Congrats to the high school cross country teams who participated in the Chicken Express 6 mile relays in Burkburnett today. Windthorst had a varsity boys relay finish in first, a varsity girls relay finish in 2nd, and a JV girls relay finish in 2nd.

They will run again next week in Windthorst.

Do you know me? This pup has been up at school the last two days. We appreciate his willingness to come to school and learn but we really need him to find his way home. 😊

Windthorst ISD will be closed Friday, August 21st to allow our students, staff, and community to attend funeral services and support one another during this difficult time. Any student or staff wishing to attend the funeral Thursday will be excused as well.

If your child is struggling with these events or you are aware of them needing assistance, please contact the Windthorst ISD Counselor, Marlee Koch.

Please keep all of those affected by this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers.

Court 1–7A followed by 7B
Court 2-8B followed by 8A

Arrival and departure times for Windthorst ISD Cowboy Church Routes:
Morning- Suzette Bus #1:
Arrival- 6:45
Depart- 6:55

Lynsey Bus #19:
Arrival- 7:20
Depart- 7:32

Afternoon - Both Buses should get there around 3:50-3:55 and leave 4:00-4:05

Parents need to be on time to drop off or pickup! If the kids parents are not there on time in the afternoon then they will be brought back to Windthorst and the parent will have to come on get them.

Due to the tragic loss of Archer County students over the weekend, Windthorst ISD will have counselors available to any student or staff member who would like to talk to someone.
