A huge thank you to Catley’s Critters for visiting us today! 🐐🐰🐔
The children had such an amazing time meeting and interacting with all the animals. Experiences like this create such special memories and bring so much joy and learning to their day.
We truly appreciate you taking the time to come out and share your wonderful animals with us! 💛

This week a family asked if I actually have children in my care and why there are no pictures of the children on my page.
The truth is, while I do have photo consent forms from families, it has always felt a little unsettling to me to post other people’s children on the internet. Even with consent, I sometimes feel families may say yes simply because their child is in my care, and I never want anyone to feel pressured or uncomfortable.
Protecting the privacy and safety of the children I care for is very important to me. If I ever decide to share photos, I will likely block out the children’s faces to respect that privacy — and honestly, I may never fully feel comfortable posting them at all.
But just to answer the question that was asked: yes, I absolutely do have children in my care every day. My focus has always been on providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment for them rather than sharing their moments online.

Running a business means standing on your policies — even when it’s uncomfortable.
Not every family will agree with structure. Not every arrangement will be the right fit long term.
But I will always choose professionalism, fairness, and the safety of the children in my care over popularity.
Building something with integrity means sometimes being misunderstood — and I’m okay with that.

My heart is so full today. My daughter has been accepted into Boston University, and I couldn’t be prouder. God has truly ordered her steps, and all her hard work, late nights, and prayers have paid off. This is only the beginning—He has amazing plans for you. 🙏🏽✨🎓

Hello! I’m a family child care provider in CT and exploring fun indoor enrichment options for the children, such as a small petting zoo, storytelling, or face painting. If anyone has experience with this or knows of vendors who work with small programs, I’d appreciate any recommendations.
