What would happen if your teen was shown that both academic success and social success were cool? What if there was a space for your teen to get to know some of the adults in the school who care about them and their future? What if there was a positive space that promotes creativity, helps your student make connections, and provides structural support for your student to grow?
Meet the Fresh Start Program at Windsor High School! This year’s participants became friends with upper-level students, learned to navigate high school, and were taught many helpful strategies that will be very useful during their first academic year.

What can be better than a pajama day? A show during a pajama day!
We love looking back at pictures from the past year and seeing how many smiles social-emotional learning activities bring to our kiddos. These photos are from a performance called “Isle of Skoo,” which teaches our youngest students how to handle their feelings in a healthy way. Everyone, even the grown-ups, loved the performance!

A quick throwback to this spring, when our JFK kiddos visited Sage Park Middle School!
Moving up a school is very exciting yet a little bit scary, so we try to introduce students to their future building before the start of the next school year. Our fifth graders get a chance to meet their future teachers, visit their future classes, and even learn how to operate middle school lockers!
Our visitors from JFK were excited to explore Sage Park Middle School and are already looking forward to starting the next academic year there. See you in September, future middle schoolers!

July is almost over, and that means it’s time to register for school!
Did you know the registration deadline for the 2026-2027 school year is August 17, 2026? That’s only 26 days away! If you want your child to start school on time, please complete registration before the deadline. You can find the registration steps in this flyer. Remember, your child’s registration is not complete until all required documents have been submitted.
If your student is already enrolled in Windsor Public Schools, please make sure you complete the “Returning Student Update 26-27” form before the start of the school year. You can find information about the form on our Registration page. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete!

A throwback to our Clover Street School superstars performing during the school’s annual talent show! While showing off their talents, students also showed their commitment to 4Cs: creativity, commitment, care, and courage🍀

We all got teary-eyed when our 2026 graduates visited their elementary schools. Saying goodbye is not easy, but revisiting good childhood memories was absolutely worth it for our seniors!

If our students want to start a club, we will always support them!
This year, JFK students decided they want to join a Natural Hair Club. Under Ms. Johnson’s supervision, kids learned how to care for different hair types and create hairstyles that let students express themselves while maintaining healthy hair.
During the last meeting of the year, students used the knowledge they gained over the past seven weeks to freestyle a hairstyle with hair gel and boar-bristle brushes. We are very proud of how creative and committed our students are!

The poems you see in this post were written by our incredibly talented middle school students. They shared their work aloud during a series of events called Words Heal: Poetry Out Loud.
Through their writing and performances students showed how creative, caring, committed, and courageous they truly are. Thank you, Sage Park students, for your hard work and dedication! We would also like to thank Ms. Hadgraft for teaching our children to express themselves through poetry.

Over 20 professionals visited Sage Park Middle School for a career day this past spring. Students were able to learn about career paths they want to pursue, as well as some jobs they did not even know existed.
Career days are a wonderful way for students to discover what they want to do after they graduate from school. We are very thankful to everyone who was able to attend Sage Park Middle School and tell our students more about the amazing paths they can choose in the future!
