Wanda J. Siemiatkoski, 79, of Windsor, beloved wife for 20 years of the late Eugene โGeneโ Siemiatkoski, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Wanda had been enrolled at the University of Hartford where she was pursuing a second Masterโs degree in Data Analysis. Throughout her life she was an active participant in Toastmasters and was very involved in many churches, including serving as a lay speaker and in the church choir. In recent years she suffered a stroke but it did not stop her from seeking new challenges.
She was a consummate Toastmaster, the heart of the Windsor club. She embraced professionalism, change, constant learning and fun while always pushing forward. She was a club officer, past Area Director and frequent speech contestant. She helped and encouraged her fellow members to strive for personal achievements and reach higher. It was appropriate that the song โYou Raise Me Upโ was chosen by her children as part of her memorial ceremony.

The service for Gene Siemiatkoski is on Saturday, 1pm to 3pm, at Carmen Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. The burial will be private. The club will send flowers.
