Windsor Middle School

Our WMS staff faced our students in a football game today, and nobody held back.

Both teams came to play, and both teams came to win. Thank you, Penny Nichols, for creating lunchtime events that bring all of Windsor Middle School together. And thank you to the staff who joined in and spent lunch connecting with our students on the field!

Ambos equipos vinieron a jugar, y ambos vinieron a ganar. ❤️wms

It's World Teachers' Day, and October is National Principals Month, so we are going to do the obvious thing and ask.

Who is the Windsor teacher or principal you still think about?

The one who noticed something in your kid that nobody else had. The one who stayed late for a make-up test. The one who got a reluctant reader to finish an actual book. The one who called you at home, and it wasn't bad news.

Put the name in the comments. We read every one of these, and we forward them.

📣 Double Your Impact for Windsor Middle School Teachers!

Big news, Windsor families! Starting next week, DonorsChoose is doubling all donations to classroom projects — meaning every dollar you give will go twice as far for our teachers and students. 🎉

Our WMS teachers have posted projects for everything from books and art supplies to science tools and technology — the everyday resources that make a real difference in the classroom. This is the perfect moment to make your support count double.

💙 Give here: https://www.donorschoose.org/schools/california/windsor-unified-school-district/windsor-middle-school/5243

Whether it's $10 or $100, your donation goes directly to a Windsor Middle School classroom, and thanks to the match, it'll have twice the impact. Please share this with friends and family too — every bit helps our students thrive!

Some places just stay with you.

WMS is one of those places. What happens here goes beyond classrooms and schedules. It’s the connections. The inside jokes. The moments you did not even know you were going to remember. The friendships between students, between staff, between people who started as strangers and became something more.

To our 8th graders and to Ms. West: you are taking a piece of this place with you. And we are keeping a piece of you too. That is how this works.

Lifelong friends. Lifelong memories. That is WMS.
