Thank you to everyone who joined us for the BCPS Back to School Bash! We are grateful to our community partners and volunteers for helping make the event a success.

The event was organized by Mr. Montez Bishop, Director of Student Services, whose efforts helped bring our students, families, and community together for a great start to the school year. 🎒📚

Every Day Counts!

Welcome Back, Bertie County Families!

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, Bertie County Public Schools wants to remind families that regular attendance is essential to student success.

Parents and students are encouraged to:

•Make school attendance a priority.
•Be present and on time every school day.
•Notify the school when a student is absent.
•Submit required absence documentation within the required timeframe.
•Monitor your child's attendance throughout the year.
•Communicate with the school if circumstances are making regular attendance difficult.

Our Goal:

Prevent truancy before it happens by communicating early, providing support, and working together with families.
