Our Director, Jay Maule, was spotted getting his steps and having fun sharing a walk with one of our students recently. At River Street, leadership means being right there in the mix, and it’s pretty clear they were both having a great time! 😊

Whether it is the famous $1.50 hot dog and soda or some other treat, lunch at Costco is always fun! Nikko's class took full advantage of the Costco offerings.

Our vocational students have a lot of jobs around the school and in the community. And it seems that in many of those jobs, people always need help laminating things!

Our River Street Unified Sports students joined forces with students from CREC Aerospace to represent CREC at a local Unified Sports co****le tournament! From perfect tosses to high-fives all around, our students brought their "A-game" and so much heart to the court.
It wasn’t just about the score—it was about the incredible team spirit, the opportunity to learn and the joy of the game. Congratulations to every player who competed! 🏆✨
A huge shoutout to the amazing staff and parents who cheered us on from the sidelines. We couldn’t do it without our biggest fans! ❤️🙌

"Community trips are the best 🚌 and so many of our students love bowling! High-fives all around as our students practice turn-taking, social skills, and their bowling technique. So proud of this group! 🎳❤️"

Big things are growing at River Street! 🌱✨
A massive THANK YOU to Coast of Maine Organic Products for their generous donation of 10 cubic feet of premium Castine Blend Raised Bed Mix! Our Vocational Department gardening program just got the ultimate spring jumpstart. 🚀
We also want to give a huge shoutout to our friends at A.W. Brown's in East Longmeadow for helping us coordinate the pickup. It truly takes a village (and some great soil) to make our garden bloom!
This donation is part of Coast of Maine's amazing "Growing Good" program, which supports schools and non-profit community gardens. We are so honored to be a part of it!
Check out Ernie Poole (Vocational Program Leader) and one of our hard-working students unloading the goods! We can’t wait to see what these students grow this season. 🍅🌻

Snow much fun, without the frostbite! ❄️🧤
Taking a little look back at our final snow of the season! Since it was a bit too chilly to stay out long, Nikki's class decided to bring the "cool" factor right into the classrooms.
Our students got super creative with their indoor snowman creations—proving that all you need is a little snow and a lot of imagination! ⛄️✨
