Cali Calmecac PTA Parent Teacher Association Welcome to Cali PTA! Our Parent/Teacher Association is actively involved in supporting the teachers and students at Cali Calmecac.

We are proud to offer the following types of support to our school:
• Financial assistance for academic field trips
• Science consumable materials
• Technological teaching aides i.e. microscopes, LCD projectors
• Playground equipment
• Campus beautification
• Art supplies
• Academic assemblies
• After-school enrichment programs and scholarships for students
• TB test scholarships for parent volunt

• Uniform Exchange and Recycle program
• Annual book drive
• Fundraising opportunities
• Staffing a Volunteer Coordinator
• First day of school parent breakfast and coffee! All of this has been made possible through our volunteers and our fundraising efforts. In light of state budget cuts, our PTA has become even more vital to the teachers and students at Cali.

Our school is better when parents are involved — and you don’t have to be a “PTA person” to join! 💚

Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, there’s a place for you. From helping at events and supporting our teachers to sharing ideas, meeting other families, or simply being part of the conversation — every family makes a difference.

🎉 What a night at the CALI Kick-Off Parent Fair! 🎉

We are SO excited to welcome so many new PTA members to our CALI family! 💚Your support and involvement make such a difference for our students and our school community.

And what a success our Used Clothing Sale was! 👕👚 Together, we brought in over $1,100 — which will go directly to our PTA snack pantry 🥨 Also, thanks to the amazing 14 parents who volunteered their time to make it happen! 🙌

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who stopped by, joined PTA, donated, shopped, volunteered, or simply came out to support CALI.
