📚 Planning for 2026–2027?
Many families are still building schedules, and several MyFunScience classes are beginning to fill—including Biology, English, Spanish, Pre-Algebra, Middle School Math, and more.
While we may be able to add additional sections in some cases, availability can become limited as classes reach capacity.
✨ If you have preferred days, times, or teachers in mind, now is a great time to start planning.

📚 School's out... and homeschool planning season is officially underway!
Let's help each other out:
💬 What curriculum, textbooks, or class materials are you hoping to sell?
💬 What curriculum, textbooks, or class materials are you looking to buy?
One family's finished resource could be exactly what another family needs for next year. 🙌
That's one reason we created the MyFunScience Textbook Marketplace, a private Facebook group where MyFunScience families can buy, sell, and trade gently used curriculum and course materials.
✅ Save money
✅ Clear some shelf space
✅ Help another homeschool family
✅ Find those hard-to-track-down books
Whether you're finalizing next year's plans or just beginning to think about them, we'd love to hear what's on your buy/sell list.

🔤🐝 The Scripps National Spelling Bee begins this week!
From May 26–28, students from across the country will compete word by word on one of the biggest academic stages in the nation. 🇺🇸📚
Think you could spell these recent championship words correctly? 👀
🏆 2024: abseil
🏆 2023: psammophile
🏆 2022: moorhen
(Without Googling do you know their definitions… be honest. 😄)
Events like the Spelling Bee are such a fun reminder that learning language, vocabulary, and communication skills can open incredible doors for students.
💬 What’s the hardest word YOU remember learning to spell?

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Did you know?
Memorial Day was originally known as “Decoration Day” because families and communities decorated the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers in remembrance. 🌺
Today, we continue that tradition of gratitude and reflection.
As homeschool families, days like this are also an opportunity to pause, ask questions, share stories, and remember the people and sacrifices behind the history we study.
❤️ May we never take freedom for granted.
