SUMMER ART KAMP -- GRADE 1-3 -- ages 6 to 9 starts August 3 to 7 from 9 am to noon.The kids will be creating projects centered around the early wild west of the US. They will draw many animals of the Great Plains. The Navajo and Noth West America natives will also be a primary focus for the projects. The projects will be created with various mediums such as clay, watercolor, tempera, pencil, oil pastels.The list of projects include:......................................................................
Drawing by shape mini lessons – the kids will draw animals such as a lizard, buffalo, prairie dog, ground squirrel, fox)........................
Independent work -Still Life Drawing of the “cowboys gear” – the kids will draw (boots, horse bridle, blanket, saddle, hat) and if time permits, they can use pastels, color pencil, crayons............................
Mask of the North West coast native Americans tempera...........................
