The backpacks are ready, the shoes lined up by the door,
Lunchboxes packed with a snack or two.
Pencils are sharpened, name tags in place,
One final summer smile on each face.

There's a flutter of nerves and a sparkle of cheer,
New friends, new teachers, a brand new year!
A hug, a wave, and off they'll go,
Into the hallways, all smiles in a row.

Excitement will grow with each new hello,
Ready for all this year has to show!

Reminder...Popsicles with the Principal is today! A great opportunity for new and returning families — see you at 2:00 p.m.! 💛 Don't forget that our school supply drive is still going on. The box is located right outside the main doors of the school.

Hard to believe we are one month away to a new school year. The PTO is helping stock classrooms and refresh the staff lounge so our amazing students, teachers and staff have everything they need for a successful start.

The Poquonock PTO has launched a fundraiser to help replace the outdoor playground equipment after the recent fire. While insurance will cover part of the cost, it won't cover everything. Every dollar raised will be set aside by the PTO and used exclusively for new playground equipment.
