While meals are provided at no cost to all of our students this year through the Healthy School Meals for All program, filling out the Free and Reduced Meal Application is still incredibly important!

By submitting your application, you help our district secure vital federal funds to support our school nutrition programs. Plus, qualifying families can unlock amazing extra perks!

📋 Who May Qualify?

Your family might qualify if your children:
- Receive SNAP, FDPIR, or TANF
- Are in foster care, Head Start, or meet homeless/runaway/migrant definitions
- Meet federal household income guidelines (e.g., for a family of four, an income at/below $42,900 for free meals or $61,050 for reduced meals)

💡 Quick Tips:
- One & Done: You only need to fill out one application per household.
- Annual Update: Even if you filled it out last year, a new application is required every school year.

We kicked off National School Breakfast Week by celebrating Dr. Suess's birthday with Green Eggs and Ham paired with red fish and blue fish goldfish. We also introduced a couple of fun celebratory breakfast items which included a McBreakfast Sandwich and whole wheat mini chocolate and powdered sugar donuts

This past month we went on a Food Adventure with the 4th graders at Hollister Lake Elementary!
We practiced our knife and sushi rolling skills by making California Veggie Sushi Rolls and yes, seaweed, chopsticks and bamboo mats were used!🍣🥑🥒🌶️🫑
