One of the best things about attending the MTNA Conference is connecting with people. I managed to get selfies with 5 former MTNA former presidents, our current President and our CEO.

Day three has been great so far. We are all wearing our MTNA 150th tee shirts. I was able to catch up with our current CEO Brian Shepard and two former presidents. The last photo is at the exhibition hall.

I had another great day at the MTNA Conference. The first photo features Ben Steinhardt and myself, representing the entire Connecticut contingent. It was enjoyable to see composers Dennis Alexander and Christopher Goldston, Brenda Austin and of course Brian Chung.

My first full day at the 150th MTNA Conference. Our keynote speaker was Scott Yoo from the PBS program Now Here This. He brought along his violin. I also chatted with former president Ken Christensen and composer Bernadine Johnson.

I attended the Opening Session of our 150th MTNA Conference. Welcoming speeches by our MTNA President Kevin Chance and CEO Brian Shepard and our opening concert was jazz singer Jane Monheit accompanied by Ben Waltzer on piano. Followed by Birthday cake and reuniting with my fellow colleagues.

Each fall semester the studio has a practice challenge. Dyland wonfor grades K-6 the most days, Olivia won for grades 7-12 the most hours, and a special prize for never missing a day of practice was awarded to Victoria.

Last full day at the MTNA National Conference. Great session led by Ingrid Clarfield. Great to catch up with Gayle Kowalchyk, E.L. Lancaster and Keith Snell.
