Join us as we welcome Crystal Austin to the Navajo Nation Library!
Ms. Austin will be reading from her debut book: “When You See the World”.

A heartfelt children's story inspired by Indigenous kinship and global connections, When You See the World reminds young readers that no matter how far they travel, they carry the love, culture, and teachings of their families with them.

The Navajo Nation Library - Main Library in Window Rock, AZ will be CLOSED today from 11 am - 3 pm for NNL WR Staff to attend the DODE Appreciation and Staff Development event. Library Services will continue at Kayenta, AZ, Torreon, NM, and Ojo Encino: 8 am - 5 pm.

Our apologies for the very short notice! Library Services will continue at 3 pm.

Yá'át'ééh friends!

We are extremely excited to welcome Drs. David E. Wilkins (Lumbee, University of Richmond), Wendy S. Greyeyes (Diné, University of New Mexico), Lloyd L. Lee (Diné, University of New Mexico), and Tiffany S. Lee (Diné, University of New Mexico) to the Navajo Nation Library!

They will be reading from and discussing the 5th edition of: "The Navajo Nation Political Experience" which examines the current Diné political developments of the last decade.

Refreshments will be served! Books will be available for purchase or you can scan the QR code too!

The Navajo Nation Library will be CLOSED on Friday, August 14, 2025, in observance of Navajo Nation Code Talkers Day.

All Navajo Nation Library locations will be closed.

Have a safe weekend and you can always log onto the digital library to learn how to access digital books, audiobooks, movies, music, and graphic novels too!
