🍂🌳 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌳🍂

Mrs. Clegg's students took their learning outdoors to explore why trees lose their leaves in the autumn! By utilizing our outdoor classroom, students got to observe nature up close and discover the science behind the beautiful fall colors and changing seasons. What a great way to connect classroom learning with the world around us! 🍁🐾

📐 Learning by Building in WIN Math! 📐

Students in Mrs. Clegg’s WIN Math class have been working collaboratively to create rectangular prisms and calculate their volume. Using tiles to model their thinking, students were able to visualize the dimensions of each prism and connect their hands-on models to the math behind volume.

Great teamwork, problem-solving, and mathematical thinking in action! 📏🧮

📐 Math in the Real World! 💰

Students in Mr. Bennington’s WIN Math class were putting their math skills to work on a real-world problem focused on scheduling, time, distance, and monetary values. Students had to think critically, calculate carefully, and apply their math skills to a practical situation.

Math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about solving problems we encounter in everyday life! 🚗⏰💵
