The American Society for Neurochemistry's Mission is to advance and promote cellular and molecular n

ASN Meetings:

Our meetings include plenary lectures, symposia, colloquia and workshops over the course of 4 days. The scientific program of our meetings are designed to address the four major themes of our Society:

- Building the Nervous System
- Glial Cell Biology
- Metabolism and Cell & Molecular Neurobiology
- Neurodegeneration and Disease. Substantial time is allotted throughout the meeting

for scientific discussions both formally and informally. Short oral presentations are selected from the submitted abstracts, along with daily poster sessions. Special efforts have been taken to encourage young investigator participation. For instance, the Society sponsors a dinner for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students to enable them to begin to establish stronger relationships with their peers. The society also subsidizes lunches with our plenary speakers. Numerous travel awards also are available for fellows and junior faculty.

Days 3 and 4 at ASN 2026 kept the momentum going.

With a mix of plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees continued to learn, connect, and exchange ideas.

The ECDC Forum and ASN Business Meeting brought valuable conversations to the forefront, while Poster Session Two wrapped things up with exciting research and great discussions.

A Look Back at Sunday at ASN 2026

Sunday at ASN 2026 was filled with inspiring science and meaningful connections.

From the plenary session and scientific symposia to networking lunches and poster presentations, the day offered countless opportunities to learn and engage.

The Student Post-Doc Mingler brought the day to a close, creating a space for early-career attendees to connect and share experiences.
