Big shout out to our talented 6th Grader, Parnika P. and family who have been part of the Matrix Math family for a number of years now! Parnika has been loving our advanced Gold-level curriculum which has allowed her to pull ahead and explore many interesting facets of math that are never taught in the day school. 🙌 Thanks for sharing your latest accomplishment with us, Parnika! 2nd place at the CFMT with an almost perfect score! Here at Matrix Advanced Math Academy, our highest mission is to share our love of math with the community. When we see Sagie’s smile in this picture, we see his joy and confidence at a job well done. Hello to all our lovely Math Lovers! We’re back with another fun fact about math. Did you know that Roman Numerals don’t have any kind of symbol for Zero? In fact, although the concept of zero began to appear as early as 4 B.C.E. in Mesopotamia, the Romans (whose numerals originated between 900-800 B.C.E.) appeared to use no zero at all in their communication. Can you imagine a world without zero?? 🙃
