In Ms. Martinez's science class students explored the electromagnetic spectrum with a focus on visible light. They investigated how light is reflected and refracted by using lasers to prove the law of reflection and bending it to create rainbows. They learned that white light is a summation of all colors and how our eyes work to take it in. Science is like magic but real!

Hard work pays off—and sometimes it clicks! 🖱️✨

Our 8th graders have been diving deep into 3D design using Fusion 360, mastering some serious STEM skills. To celebrate their hard work, they took on a special project: designing their very own 3D-printed Fidget Name Clickers!

Seeing their digital creations turn into real, working prints has been amazing. Huge shoutout to these students for their creativity, focus, and dedication! 👏🎉

Today, students worked collaboratively to adjust recipes using fraction operations! They challenged themselves to create:
A lower-fat version 🍎
A lower-carb version 🥗
A high-protein version 💪
A smaller-portion version 🍽️
The students did an amazing job applying their fraction skills to real-world situations and thinking critically about how ingredient changes affect a recipe.

6th grade World History got "Creative Like Cavemen"! Our students got in touch with their artistic side to depict tools, pottery, animals, and life of the Paleolithic and Neolithic people. Each student used clay and their imagination, just as the early humans did.
The kids had a fun day building their sculptures and admiring each other's work.
