Bright Horizons at Windermere Preschool At Bright Horizons, our Discovery Driven Learning® approach makes early learning an adventure. We also understand the many needs of working parents.

Meet the Arcela family, our Bright Horizons family of the Week!

We’re a busy family of five with three kiddos, Tristan (9), Stella (4), and Charlotte (1), who keep us on our toes and make life so much fun! We love spending time together, whether it’s traveling, visiting Disney, or just enjoying a little family time at home. We also have two golden retrievers, two cats, and (temporarily) 9 golden retriever puppies, so there is never a dull moment in our house!

Typically all of our free time is spent at Disney, with Epcot being our kids’ favorite park! If we aren’t at Disney, we are probably spending time at the kids’ gymnastics classes or the dance studio! We are a family that loves cruising and doing staycations! Anything for a little adventure! Mom is originally from Orlando, but Dad moved here from Brooklyn, NY 15 years ago! Can’t beat living right next to Disney.

We chose Bright Horizons because we loved the energy and the care the teachers seemed to show their students. From the moment we toured, we could tell this was a school that treated their students like family. It was important to us to find a school for Stella that not only focused on education, but also on developing social and interpersonal skills. We love it here!

Meet the Marcano Lowjoa family, our Bright Horizons Family of the Week!

Mom is Florida born and raised, while dad was born and raised in Venezuela. In our free time we enjoy exploring nature, going to the pool, going to Seaworld and fishing!

I have been working at Bright Horizons for 8 years, and Mako has been attending Bright Horizons since he was 2 months old. Bright Horizons is more than a preschool for us, it’s a place where our son is safe, cared for and provides endless opportunities for him to learn and develop socially and emotionally. The teachers and admins make us feel like family and I couldn’t ask for a better preschool experience!

👋 About Our Family

Both Jeff and I are originally from Florida! Although we are not a big fan of the Florida heat, on weekends we try to take Noah to different places where he can run around and explore. We recently started doing kids workshops at Home Depot! Noah loves anything related to sports, books, and Paw Patrol. 😆

💙 We chose Bright Horizons early on when Noah was 6 months old. It was the perfect fit for us because his teachers loved on him like their own. We felt so much peace knowing that he was in such great hands. Bright Horizons was and is an answered prayer and our village!

We encourage children to notice and compare objects by their attributes by shining light on them. As we explore objects with children, we talk about what items are made of, their shapes, and more. By shining light on them, we also invite children to investigate transparency as they notice whether the item creates a shadow, allows some light to pass through, or if the light passes through entirely. This experience introduced new vocabulary to children, encouraged focus and attention to details, and promoted cause and effect learning.

Meet our Bright Horizons Family of the Week, the Rentz Family!

👋 About Our Family
We are Anthony Rentz and Jami Griffiths, and we are a loud and crazy, blended family of five in Winter Garden, along with our dog, Roxy! 🐶 Roxy is super chill, but between the three kids—Jami's older two, Jordanna and Jesse, and our youngest, Asher—there is pretty much never a dull or quiet moment around our house! 🤪 On the weekends, we love keeping things pretty low-key, usually spending time outside, exploring local spots around town, or crashing on the couch for family movie nights 🍿🎬.

💙 Why We Chose Bright Horizons
This was an easy choice for both of us! Since Jami’s older two, Jordanna and Jesse, went to Bright Horizons and had such a great experience, deciding together on the right place for Asher was a total no-brainer. 🎒✨ We especially love that Asher is now getting to have some of the exact same teachers that his older siblings had years ago! We also can't express enough how loved we know Asher is when he is there. The teachers truly feel like family, and having that kind of peace of mind means everything to us!

Three of her four children - and later, her grandson - attended our on-site center for PSECU employees. She fondly remembers the meaningful connections each teacher built with her family and how the curriculum prepared them for kindergarten and beyond.

What began as convenience turned into a support system - the teachers helped Henry hit important milestones and grow with confidence while giving Kaylee the reassurance and encouragement she needed as a new mom.
