A new Lower School tradition is underway! ❤️💙

On Friday, our youngest Lakers celebrated the first-ever Lower School Unity Day with a day all about fun, friendship, and time together. Pre-K 3 through 1st grade enjoyed ice cream sundaes courtesy of WPVA, while 2nd through 5th grade turned up the fun with a DJ and water slides! 🌊🍦🎶

Registration is now open for the WPS Dance Conservatory! 🩰✨

Designed for dancers looking to strengthen their technique, build confidence, and grow as artists, the Conservatory offers weekly Ballet and Jazz classes plus a new Saturday Masterclass Series that will feature classes in Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, Cultural Dance, Musical Theatre Dance, Lyrical, and more.

Open to dancers ages 11–18, including non-WPS students. Registration is open now and space is limited!

Unity Day is all about connection, community, and kicking off the school year together! ❤️💙

Our high school Lakers headed off campus with their grade-level classmates on Friday for a day of fun, friendship, and plenty of memories:

🚚 New lunch options are rolling onto campus!

Beginning this week, WPS students and staff can enjoy premium food truck offerings during all three lunch periods every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

🍔 Tuesdays: CCuisinefl
🍦 Wednesdays: Bruster's Real Ice Cream
🍽️ Thursdays: TheAssador

Food trucks will be located by the outdoor courts next to the Sports Performance Center. Be sure to check out the flyer for schedules, menus, and important payment information!

New year, new lunch options! 🥗🥪

FLIK Independent School Dining has added even more variety to our Middle and High School lunch experience this year with two new options available daily: Greens & Grains and Melt’d!

🥗 Greens & Grains: Build your own fresh salad or grain bowl with greens, seasonal vegetables, wholesome grains, proteins, toppings, and house-made dressings.

🥪 Melt’d: Choose from a rotating selection of premium sandwiches, wraps, and flatbreads made with quality meats, cheeses, and fresh ingredients. Sandwiches can even be toasted on the panini press for a warm, crispy finish!

Along with FLIK’s daily hot lunch selections, our Lakers now have even more fresh and delicious options to choose from each day. 🍽️
