We are so appreciative to A Fair for All for their support of our students and our community.
In a few short weeks, when they walk into the Fall Book Fair, each child will receive a Power Voucher giving them complete freedom, agency, and dignity to pick out whatever they want—books, posters, bookmarks, or fun fair merchandise—with $0 out of pocket.
We are so grateful for the incredible generosity and support of our Yargo community! 💙💛
WE DID IT! GOAL CRUSHED! 100% FUNDED! 🎉📚✨
Thanks to the incredible generosity of this community, our Fall Book Fair campaign for Yargo Elementary second graders has officially met—and exceeded—its goal!
🎯 Goal: $1,521.00
💰 Raised: $1,562.10 (102%!)
What does this mean?
Every single one of Yargo’s 130 second-grade students is now 100% covered! When they walk into the Fall Book Fair, each child will receive a Power Voucher giving them freedom, agency, and dignity to pick out whatever they want—books, posters, bookmarks, or fun fair merchandise—with $0 out of pocket.
To every single person who donated $11.70 for a single voucher, to our local business partners, and to our Homeroom Heroes who sponsored whole classrooms: THANK YOU. You didn't just raise money; you ensured that zero kids sit on the sidelines during one of the best weeks of the school year. 🐾💙
✨ Where do the extra funds go?
Because we raised $41.10 over our goal, every extra cent goes directly into our restricted "Forward-Ho! Fund." This ensures:
-We have an emergency cushion for any new students who enroll at Yargo between now and Fair Week.
-We begin seeding the fund to scale Power Vouchers to the next grade level and fair!
Fair Week is almost here! Keep an eye on our page for updates and sneak peeks as we prep the vouchers and get ready to celebrate our Wildcat readers.
Community in action is a powerful thing. Thank you for making magic happen! 💙✨
