Can’t believe this place is charging people when their kids can’t even go as have reduced numbers. Also reduced opening times but still charging full amount when they know people have to pay for other services for the times they aren’t open. Just money grabbing when everyone suffering at moment. Deserve to go out of business.
Sporty would like for you to color a picture for him!!
Please print this coloring page; color the picture; add your name to the front; snap a picture of it; and text back to me at 678 863 7210.
I would like to post the sporty pictures on facebook so Sporty and your friends can take a peek.
We teach Six Sports at Playball. Guess this Sport!!
Due to the new emergency ordinance that passed tonight, will that affect you? Will you still be open?
The week of March 9 will bring lots of smile and laughter.

Our twos are going to be busy moving. They will rotate to catching cups; run around beacons; and stop moving skipping ropes by jumping on them. The coach will roll out two tennis balls. Each student will use a catching cup to stop the first tennis ball, and then proceed to use their second catching cup to stop the second tennis ball. Students will use sporty paddles to hit small balls around the court. Class will conclude with a game of huff and puff. It is going to be a fun week for our twos.

Our threes are going to be busy. We will warm up by sliding to designated hoops around the court. Students will then select a hoop, stand in it, and dodge balls tossed by their coach. Students must stay in the hoop while dodging the balls. Our kiddos will have a blast stopping big balls rolled away from them by sitting on the balls ( hands). We will practice drop catching tennis balls while standing, and then using the tennis ball to practice the overarm throw. We will wrap things up with a game of shapes, colors, and bean bags.

Our Pre K and Kinders are going to ❤ this week's curriculum. We will work on the soccer pass kick, the basketball chest pass, and the hockey bunt. We will practice a sequence of slide, stop, pass & catch. We will have lots of fun playing an overarm throw game!

What a week!! Lots of skills and fun for our team this week. Go Sporty!!
Spring Playball starts February 18!! Catch the fun and join our team.
Messenger wouldnt let me add a pic but this is the gate that would prob work for the 1 year old escape artists. Lol
The week of February 3 is going to be super!!

Our twos are going to roll into the week. They will practice log rolls and then turning in hoops. The students will walk on bean bags, jump over sticks, and then roll tennis balls under the sticks. It is all about movement and gross motor skills.

Our terrific threes will walk on ropes, run under a stick, and walk over bean bags. They will catch big balls and then kick them over the ropes. They will drop and catch big balls to the left of their rope and then to the right of their rope. The threes are going to love using hockey sticks to push bean bags around the court. We are always on the move at playball.

Our Pre K and Kinders have lots to be excited about. We will work on the soccer pass kick and heading. The students will practice fielding a ball with a partner and the overarm throw. We will play a game of "avoiding obstacles".

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I now teach 2nd grade at St. Joseph School in Athens. My class is collecting the tabs off of tin cans. These tabs help benefit the Ronald McDonald House. If you would, please save your tabs and give them to Ms. Ann at Cadence Academy. She will see that I get them. No donation is too small. I appreciate your help in supporting the Ronald McDonald House. 😀

Today, I was emotionally ready to read the sweet post regarding us selling Kidz Academy. Thank you to everyone for the kind words regarding Billy & I making a lifestyle change that will allow us to slow down and enjoy life. We truly loved Kidz Academy & our families. We thank you for sharing your precious child with us and for all of the friendships we have with you. We will miss seeing everyone daily but you will always be a part of us. We will always be grateful and blessed that we started Kidz Academy and for the many children, parents, & staff that it brought into our lives. We pray God keeps his loving arms around you all.

Dear Kidz Academy Families and Friends,

As I attended Brenau University to work on my early childhood education, I dreamt of having my own school to teach young children. In 2005, Kidz Academy was born! We opened Kidz Academy with 5 students and 3 employees. Fast forward 16 years later, we are beyond proud of the positive impact we have made on thousands of children, parents and employees. By providing a stable growth environment for employment, we have witnessed the creation of many long-lasting friendships as people flourished in their careers. By partnering with our employees to provide the strongest foundation of early education, we have been gifted to see the growth of many children and families we have served throughout the years. Now, as they come back to us either as an employee or as a parent themselves, it is the biggest gift of all to witness the ripple effects of the seeds we planted.

After 16 years of pouring our heart and soul into Kidz Academy, Billy and I are excited, yet emotional to announce that we have decided to slow down and enjoy life! It took us some time planning and searching for a company with the “right fit”. We are extremely grateful to have entered into a purchase agreement with an organization that has the same vision, values and culture that we do. An organization that will keep what we have all built together exactly as it is. An organization that will be able to offer more benefits and growth opportunities to our employees than we can. An organization with a business ethic that is similar to ours. This organization is Cadence Education. We encourage you to visit their website: to learn more about their history, educational philosophy, and promise to provide exceptional education to your children.

We are most excited about the opportunities and additional support this transition will create for our amazing teachers and staff. Rest assured, the teachers and administration you know, and love, are not going anywhere and will continue to love, nurture, and teach your child. The curriculum and everything you know about Kidz Academy will stay the same. We feel very confident that our school will thrive under their stewardship for many years to come and we hope that you will join us in welcoming them to Kidz Academy.

Both Tina and I are available if you have any questions or concerns and would love to hear from you. The best way to reach us is by email at [email protected].

Welcome Back into the Building!

We are very excited to announce that effective Monday, June 21st, you will be allowed to walk your child into the lobby. Please prepare your child that you will not be able to walk them to their class. Hopefully, that day will not be far away.

Please do not enter the building if you have any COVID symptoms or have been around anyone that has been diagnosed with COVID. Parents/guardians will need to wear a mask that covers both the nose and mouth. Only one parent/guardian may walk their child in. No more than two families may be in the lobby at any given time. For the time being, no one may remain in the lobby more than ten minutes. While in the lobby we must keep 6 feet away from others including the staff checking temperatures.

Drop off procedure: Parents will enter the building from the entrance door only (facing the building this is the door to the right). Walk directly to the table for the temperature check. Once the child has been checked, they will walk to their classroom. No one will be permitted to pass the temp check table except the students and the staff. Infants & toddlers will be escorted to their class by a staff member. Parents will go directly to the computer to sign their child in. Parents will immediately exit the building using the exit door.

Afternoon Dismissal Procedure: Parents/guardians that show no symptoms of COVID and have not been around anyone with COVID may enter the lobby to sign their child out. All persons entering the building must wear a mask to cover both the mouth and nose. A staff member will call your child to the front for dismissal. Parents & child will immediately exit by using the exit door.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward to returning to our normal routine. We appreciate you!
