She is one of our true unsung heroes — constantly going above and beyond for our staff and students, taking care of the things people may never even notice, and always making our school a better place. ❤️

Barrow County families — Community Christmas applications are officially OPEN! 🎅🏼🎁

For anyone new to our county, Community Christmas is our one-stop shop for Christmas assistance for the kiddos of Barrow County. ❤️

✨ Last year, Community Christmas served around 3,000 kiddos! ✨

Our drivers do SO much more than drive a bus.

They greet our students, look out for them, listen to them, encourage them, and help make sure every Bullpup gets where they need to go safely. ❤️

Every student who jumps on one of our Bullpup Buses is important — and our drivers play such an important role in their school day!

Mrs. Cronic’s classes took their learning to a whole new phase… literally! 😂

Our Bullpups modeled the phases of the moon using Oreos 🌑🌓🌕 — because who says science can’t be delicious?!

From new moon to full moon, these students were getting hands-on with their learning and having a blast while doing it! 🔭✨😋

🌽🪶🎨 LEARNING BY CREATING! 🐾

On Friday, our 3rd grade Bullpups wrapped up their Native American Unit with an incredible hands-on learning experience! 📚✨

Students rotated through classrooms and created artifacts inspired by different Native American regions — and they got to put their creativity to work! 👏🏼

From corn crafts with beads 🌽 to drawing symbols on buffalo hides, building headdresses and totem poles, painting clay pots, and so much more, our Bullpups were learning, creating, and having a BLAST along the way! 🎨🪶

There’s nothing quite like bringing learning to life! ❤️🖤

Way to go, 3rd grade! We’re loving all the creativity, curiosity, and learning happening at WES! 🐾📚✨

🎀☕️ DOLLY DAY AT WES! 💕✨

September 25th was a whole lotta fun at Winder Elementary! 🎀

Our fabulous PTO kicked things off with a Cup of Ambition Cart ☕️ because what’s Dolly Day without a little caffeine?! 😂

All day long, our Bullpups enjoyed Dolly trivia and Name That Dolly Tune 🎶🎤 — and WOW, we’ve got some serious Dolly fans around here!

And the cherry on top? 🍒 It was PAJAMA DAY! 💤 Because when you stumble out of bed and head straight to school, you might as well make it official! 😂

A HUGE thank you to our amazing PTO, staff, and Bullpups for making the day so much fun! ❤️🖤 We hope our Bullpups enjoyed Dolly Day just as much as we did!

🚒❤️ A BIG thank you to our friends at the Winder Fire Department! 🖤

What better way to wrap up September’s Community Helpers lesson than with some real-life heroes?! 👨‍🚒🔥

Last Friday, our friends from the Winder Fire Department came out to Winder Elementary to visit Miss Foxley, Mr. Maddox, and Miss El Sagir’s classes — and our students were ALL about it! 🥹

From getting an up-close look at the fire truck 🚒 to meeting the firefighters, there were smiles EVERYWHERE! And of course… the firefighter hats and coloring books were a HUGE hit! 🧑‍🚒🖍️❤️

And to make it even sweeter, our 5th grade buddies were able to join in on the fun! Watching our older Bullpups interact, encourage, and learn alongside our younger students was the BEST. 🥰

Thank you, Winder Fire Department, for taking time out of your day to pour into our Bullpups and show them what it means to be a community helper AND a community hero. ❤️🖤

🌸🎀 DOLLY DAY + COMP DOGGS?! 🎀🌸

Not only is today DOLLY DAY at Winder Elementary, but this morning we started with more than just a cup of ambition! ☕️✨

Our car rider line AND bus lane were filled with some pretty special visitors — Winder-Barrow High School’s COMP DOGGS! 🐾❤️🖤

How awesome is it that these student-athletes chose to spend this beautiful Friday morning with our Bullpups?! 🥹 They could have been anywhereeeee, but they chose to pour into our youngest DOGGS and bring ALL the Friday energy with them!

And tonight… it’s SHOWTIME! 👀🔥

🐾❤️🖤 OUR JR. DOGGS ARE LEADING THE WAY! 🖤❤️🐾

This past Wednesday, we had a few of our Jr. DOGGS join us for Morning Arrival here at Winder Elementary, and what made the morning even more special? It was 8th Grade Night! 🥹

These student-athletes are showing us that being a DOGG means so much more than what happens in the classroom or on the field. They’re stepping up, giving back, and pouring into the next generation of Bullpups! 🐾

Because sometimes, the best way to show our Bullpups what it means to be a DOGG… is to show them. ❤️🖤

We are so thankful for these young men and women and for Russell Middle School for sharing them with us! 🥰

And if you look REAL close… you might even spot a handful of Bullpup alumni! 👀🐾

Once a Bullpup, always a Bullpup. ❤️
