Starlight Academy A family owned and run qualiy childcare facility. When done carefully, self esteem and confidence grows, as does the feeling of community within the classroom.

We believe that each child is unique and that uniqueness should be considered and valued by teachers while creating a relationship with the student. The ensuing journey of teaching is one that can be influential to children as they are allowed the chance to navigate and make choices for themselves. This added responsibility is beneficial for the children in their growth, but also allows the childr

en’s individuality to be uncovered. We have found that knowing children on an individual basis is the key to helping them reach their potential. As the whole student is taught, issues regarding discipline are better handled and the classroom becomes an arena where children begin to feel comfortable taking risks. Allowing children to learn at their own pace in meaningful experiences relating to their lives is what really counts.
