Haymon Morris FFA and Westside Middle FFA joined forces in our Chapter Officer Leadership Training today! Chapter officers completed the Building and Achieving Success In Chapters Training by working on teamwork and communication skills, tackling the mud course, and planning our year together!

HMMS FFA hosted an Ice Cream Social for members and non-members to learn about our chapter! We had a great time getting to know everyone as we start the school year!

This morning, we found out that Rosa Dougan-Ondo is a National Finalist in the Agriscience Fair!

Last spring, Rosa represented Haymon Morris FFA at State Convention and placed first in the Food Products and Processing Category. Rosa is now one of top ten in the nation within her division. She will now conduct an interview representing Haymon Morris in the coming months and find out her placing at National Convention in October. We are so proud of her representation of Haymon Morris Middle FFA!

Today, FFA chapters across the county joined with Barrow County Farm Bureau to pack book bag with school supplies for the Back to School Bash!

We had a great time at Summer Leadership Camp! Our boys team won Leadership Team of the Week along with the other Barrow County Boys!

Last night HMMS FFA members attended the Barrow County CTAE Awards Night.

Rylee Grace Hester earned the Excellence in Agriculture Pathway Award and Audrina Robertson earned the CTSO leader (FFA) award!

We were also happy to see fellow HMMS CTSO members, Rory White representing FCCLA and the FACS class, and Gavin Pugh and Nina Lowman representing Skills USA and the Career class!
