Students will receive Picture Day flyers during Extended Homebase this Wednesday, August 19, with information about portrait packages and how to purchase.

👕 Picture Day tip: Please avoid shirts with faces on them! Faces on clothing can confuse the camera and affect how portraits turn out. Solid colors or simple patterns are a great choice!

We are excited to welcome 6th grade families a week from tonight to our 6th Grade Parent Academy. Families will visit their child's homebase to learn all about 6th grade. We will discuss middle school grading policies and expectations, the HMMS PBIS system, behavior expectations, sports, clubs, and other important 6th grade success tips.

We hope to see all of our families next Tuesday at 5:00, and we hope you stay for our Title 1 night and Curriculum Night which will begin at 5:30 and 6:00.

HMMS Wildcats putting our learning into action! In 8th grade physical science, students are learning about potential and kinetic energy. To put this into practice, students completed a lab tracking the rebound height of different objects being dropped from different heights.

Students are off to a great start at Haymon Morris this school year, and our teachers are excited to share more about their classes at our Curriculum night on Tuesday, August 18.

6th grade families are invited to join us starting at 5:00 PM for a "6th Grade Parent Academy." Our 6th grade team will be sharing 6th grade success tips and answering questions about grades, behavior expectations, and study skills.

At 5:30 we will continue our evening to all families with our annual Title 1 Informational meeting.
