Propel Career Academy had the privilege of welcoming Jason Zipprian, CEO of , to visit our Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship Accelerator.

Jason began his own career at FSG as an electrical apprentice and worked his way through the industry before becoming CEO.

Jason shared his electrical experience through the years, answered questions, and spoke with our students about the opportunities that can come from hard work, continued growth, and building a career in the skilled trades.

At Propel Career Academy, we believe exposure to industry leaders and real-world career paths is an important part of preparing our students for what comes next.

🔥 National Welding Month done right 🔥

We’ve got to give a big shoutout to our evening welding crew here at Propel 👏

These guys have been putting in the hours after a long day—and it’s paying off. They just passed their D1.1 Flux Core weld test, and that’s no small thing 💪👨‍🏭

This takes real focus, patience, and a lot of practice. Seeing them stick with it and hit this milestone is what it’s all about.

This is exactly why we do what we do at Propel—helping students build real skills so they’re ready to step into a career when they finish.

🧡Giving Back to Our Community 🧡

At Propel Career Academy, we believe building a strong future means more than learning a trade — it also means serving the community around us.

Over the past few months, our National Technical Honor Society students and staff have had the opportunity to volunteer with Meals on Wheels, helping pack and deliver smiles to members of our community. It’s been an incredible experience for our team to step outside the classroom and make a real impact.

The trades are all about building — building skills, building careers, and building stronger communities. We’re proud of our students and staff who continue to represent Propel by giving their time and heart to others.

At Propel Career Academy, we’re celebrating one of the most essential skilled trades—one that quite literally builds the world around us. From infrastructure to innovation, welding plays a huge role in shaping our everyday lives.

One of our favorite ways to introduce people to this trade is through our virtual welders! 🛠️ These hands-on simulators let individuals experience welding in a fun, interactive way—no sparks required. It’s a great way to learn the basics, build confidence, and see what a future in welding could look like.🛠️

Our team recently had the chance to get trained on our new virtual welder, and let’s just say… we had a blast while learning something new!
