What a great 1st day in Ms.Brenda’s class! Just a couple tears to start but those tears turned into smiles! We started our day with playtime. We played with playdough. We sang our name song at circle time. We colored our 1st day of preschool coloring paper( that will go home the end of the year). We started doing our handprints for a special paper. We will finish with the other kiddos on Wednesday. Ms.Amanda read us a book called Pete the Kittys 1st day of preschool. We enjoyed some time outside on our playground. After snack we ended our day with The Floor is Lava!

Wow what an amazing first day! In Ms Brittany and Ms Courtney’s class we had a lot of fun learning some of the class rules, schedule and learned about our friends to help build the most amazing Class Family! We did a few art projects to help remember the first day for the years to come, and at the end of the day we even were able to get outside to play!

We are so excited for this amazing year ahead!

Ms. Kathy’s class celebrated a special birthday today; thank you for the treats!!

What a fantastic first day of Pre-K in Ms. Kathy’s and Ms. Aimee’s classes! We began our day with playtime where the kids made friends quickly! After that we cleaned up, went over some school rules, traced our names, read Pete The Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes and then colored pictures of Pete! We enjoyed a special snack and then got to try some Magic Playdough! Everyone got a ball of white playdough and we explained that when they squished it and mixed it, if it turned a color, they were going to have a GREAT year in Pre-K; everyone was so excited to see them change and see what color they got! Our morning flew by, it was a great first day!

A Prayer for a New School Year

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we begin this new school year, we ask You to guide our teachers and staff each and every day. Fill our hearts with patience, kindness, understanding, and love.

Help us to work together as a team, support one another, and always treat each other with grace and respect. When challenges arise, give us wisdom and help us remember that we are all working together to care for and nurture the children You have placed in our hands.

Bless our preschool, our families, and every child who walks through our doors. May this be a wonderful year filled with joy, laughter, learning, friendship, and many blessings.

Help us to keep You at the center of all we do.
