The Girls tennis team clashed with a strong Jamestown team in the state finals, resulting in a 1-5 loss.
Despite this, the loss does not diminish the impressive season achieved by the coaches and team.

Our girls tennis team was sent off by hundreds for JH students, teachers, staff, family, and friends today as they left for their state finals match vs. Jamestown. The match will be played at Huntington Park in Newport News tomorrow at 9AM. Let’s go Judges!

Congratulations to our girls tennis team, as they beat Atlee HS 5-1 in the state semifinal match. The team will now move on to the VHSL state championship match on Thursday, June 11th @ 9AM. The location will be Huntington Park in Newport News, VA. The judges will face the winner of Jamestown versus EC Glass.

TWO STATE CHAMPIONS. ONE INCREDIBLE WEEKEND.
The Judges shined on the biggest stage at the VHSL State Championships!
Timmy Campbell cleared 6’7” to capture the VHSL State Championship in the High Jump.
Evelyn Mullins sprinted to a State Championship in the 400m Dash, setting a new school record of 55.52 seconds. She also earned a 4th-place finish in the 200m Dash with a time of 24.52 seconds.
Other outstanding performances from the Judges:
Will Thomas placed 5th in the 800m Run with a time of 1:58.81.
Brock Ashe competed in the 110m Hurdles, finishing 14th with a time of 15.65 seconds.
