I will be demonstrating at the Fallbrook Art Association's September 21st meeting. I will be painting a watercolor landscape on textured canvas that I have prepared myself. During the workshop that follows the demonstration, I will have hand-outs of all my steps to prepare either watercolor paper or canvas with textured paper. I have experimented for some time now and feel I have the best solution for paper or canvas texture for watercolor. Once finished, the painting can be framed without glass. Message me if you are interested in the workshop . Sept. 21, meeting starts at 9:30 - 12:00. The workshop is 1:00 - 4.00. $40 for members, $50 for non-members + $7. materials fee (9x12 prepared canvas) . Space is limited, so sign-up in advance. A landscape, animal, or flower would all work great! (Bring your own watercolor supplies.)
