We are incredibly fortunate to have such a strong partnership with Centerpoint Health. Their continued support and the hands-on opportunities they provide our Health Science students are truly unmatched. Experiences like these give our students a head start as they prepare for careers in healthcare, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their investment in our program and our students. Thank you, Centerpoint Health, for helping shape the future of healthcare!
ENGAGED CITIZEN!
The Board of Education is honored to recognize the Centerpoint Health (represented by CEO Matt Smith and RN Chris Webb) for being a valued Engaged Citizen and CCPS partner. Congratulations! Your Greatness Shows!

Our teachers never stop learning! We’re proud of Mrs. Prater for attending professional development to expand her knowledge and continue growing in her field.
Several CCPS school nurses attended the Kentucky School Nurse Association Summer Conference this week. The three-day conference featured a variety of training designed specifically for school nurses, helping them stay up to date on best practices and continue providing excellent care for our students.

Also, how else would Health Science finish the year than with another visit with Northeast Kentucky AHEC. Students were giving the chance to dissect sharks before starting their summer vacation. We are always so grateful for this partnership and all the hands-on experience our students get!
