Last Friday, Mr. Brown’s Introduction to Construction class finally made their way into the shop! 🔨🛠️ Students are working hard to complete their tool safety tests, and once they’re finished, they’ll be ready to dive into their first hands-on projects.

This honor is awarded only to members who demonstrate deep civic awareness, master the SkillsUSA Framework, and effectively advocate for Career and Technical Education (CTE) during direct meetings with members of Congress and national leaders on Capitol Hill.

We are so grateful for our local partnership with Centerpoint and their willingness to help provide our students with valuable, hands-on experience in the healthcare field. These opportunities allow our students to take what they’ve learned in the classroom and put it into practice in a real-world setting.

This week, our Automotive and Welding students had the opportunity to hear from representatives from WyoTech- Laramie and learn more about opportunities available in the automotive and welding industries.

Our Welding students also got a special visit from Link-Belt Cranes, who stopped by to spend some time with one of our welding groups and share valuable industry insight.

🩸 Northeast Kentucky AHEC also stopped by this week to work with our Health Science students as they practiced blood type identification—giving students another hands-on experience to build their healthcare skills!

We are so thankful for the industry partners and organizations who continue to invest in our students and help connect classroom learning to real-world careers! 👏💙
