Day 3 of our High School Revival Meetings was powerful! Bro. Jack Shope brought a convicting message from Daniel 3 on faith that stands. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn’t wait until they were standing before the fiery furnace to decide what they believed—their decision to stand for God had been made long before the idol was ever built. We are grateful for how the Lord worked in hearts today and especially thankful to see our students sensitive and responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

It was a blessing to have Dr. Charlie Hatcher with us for the second day of our High School Revival Meetings. Dr. Hatcher brought a powerful message from Numbers 13–14 on having contagious faith. Our students were challenged to believe God, trust His promises, and follow Him even when it doesn’t make sense from our perspective. We are thankful for another day of hearing God’s Word and praying that the Lord will continue to work in the hearts of our students throughout this week.

What a great start to our 2026 High School Revival meetings! Bro. Ben Caldwell delivered a convicting message on fear and what it means to trust the Lord. Several young people came forward and made decisions for Christ. Please continue to pray for these meetings each day this week.

Our Lower School had its first chapel service of the new school year today, and what a wonderful way to begin!
Mr. Jack Shope brought a great message challenging our students to follow Jesus. We are thankful that spiritual growth is a priority at LBCS, and we are praying that the truths shared in chapel will take root in the hearts of our students.
We look forward to seeing the spiritual fruit God will produce through our chapel services throughout this school year!

We are looking forward to a wonderful school year at LBCS!
One of the things that sets LBCS apart is the spiritual priority we place on the lives of our students. While we are committed to academic excellence, our greatest desire is to see our students know the Lord, grow in their faith, and develop a heart to live for Him.
As we begin this new school year, we are praying specifically for God to work in the hearts of our student body and for a genuine spiritual revival among our young people.
To help begin the year with the right focus, our Middle and Upper School students will participate in a week of special revival meetings, August 17–21.
Revival Week Speakers:
Monday — Mr. Ben Caldwell
Tuesday — Dr. Charlie Hatcher
Wednesday — Mr. Jack Shope
Thursday — Mr. Aaron Miller
Friday — Pastor Howard Caldwell
Parents are more than welcome to join us for these special meetings. We would love for you to experience what God is doing in the hearts of our students and throughout our school family.
Most importantly, please help us pray for this week. Pray for each speaker. Pray for our faculty and staff. And especially pray that the hearts of our students will be tender and responsive to the Word of God.
We want this year to be about more than grades, accomplishments, and academic growth. We are asking God to do a work in the hearts of our students that will impact their lives far beyond the classroom and far beyond this school year.
