Troop 507 can even make picking up trash fun. The only thing better would be if there were no trash to pick up.

I am very proud to share that this evening Jeremiah McCarthy, Matthew Sun, and Andrew Sun successfully passed their Eagle Scout Boards of Review and are now Troop 507’s newest Eagle Scouts!

- Matthew becomes the Troop’s 138th Eagle Scout. For his Eagle project, Matthew built three new picnic tables installed at Elliott Park across the street from Stop & Shop.

Troop 507 held another successful Turkey Roast this past weekend! This was our 25th annual Turkey Roast camping trip.

33 Scouts and 16 adults went camping in NH and prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner in the outdoors. The weather was cold but clear with highs in the mid 40's and a low of 21° Sunday morning. As with everything in life, preparation is key, and these Scouts were prepared.

Troop 507 wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

🎉 Historic Milestone for Troop 507 and Wi******er Scouting! 🦅

Please join Troop 507 Wi******er in congratulating Isabella Bogovich, who officially earned the rank of Eagle Scout this evening! Isabella is Troop 507’s 131st Eagle Scout, and proudly becomes the first female Eagle Scout in the Troop’s 93-year history.
Isabella began her Scouting journey in 2018 as a Cub Scout in Pack 507, the very first year that girls were allowed to join the program. In 2019, Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) officially opened the path to Eagle Scout to girls, offering the same leadership and outdoor adventure opportunities long available to boys.

Isabella has spent the past seven years in Scouting alongside two other remarkable young women who also began as Cub Scouts and are now nearing completion of their Eagle Scout requirements. Together, they have grown as leaders, served their communities, and helped blaze the trail for the next generation of girls in Scouting.

For her Eagle Scout service project, Isabella restored a long-neglected storage room at Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church, transforming it into a clean, organized, and functional space for the church community to use.

An Eagle Scout Court of Honor to celebrate Isabella’s incredible achievement will be held in the coming months—stay tuned for details. In the meantime, please join us in celebrating this trailblazing Scout and her amazing accomplishment!

Troop 507’s 24th Annual Turkey Roast – A Tradition of Community and Scouting!

This past weekend, Troop 507 hosted our 24th annual Turkey Roast, preparing an entire Thanksgiving feast outdoors at our campsite. Our Scouts cooked 90 pounds of turkey, 30 pounds of mashed potatoes, and 15 pies, sharing this delicious meal with over 80 members of our extended Scouting family.

But the weekend was about more than just a great meal. In between preparing the feast, the Scouts practiced outdoor skills, completed a conservation service project for the landowner(. L. Storer Reservation), and worked together to stay warm and dry in the cool, rainy weather. The entire event, including the meal preparation and activities, was planned and led by our older Scouts, showcasing their leadership and teamwork.

If you’re interested in your child joining the adventure, Troop 507 is a co-ed program for youth in 6th-12th grades, offering opportunities to learn life skills, explore the outdoors, and make lifelong friendships. For younger children in K-5th grades, the Cub Scout program is also available. To learn more or join, please contact us at [email protected] or message us here!
