Rajarshi Mandal, an RSM student for over 10 years, was awarded the Davidson Fellows Scholarship, and we are so proud of his incredible achievement!🚀

💫Rajarshi was recognized for his innovative research in malaria prevention. He developed a mathematical model to determine how insecticide-treated mosquito nets can be distributed where they could have the greatest impact. Rajarshi has attended both RSM Lexington and RSM Math Competition classes and plans to study mathematics and computer science in college. His talents extend well beyond math and science. A rising junior at Lexington High School, he is an accomplished pianist who has performed twice at Carnegie Hall and holds a black belt in karate.

Davidson Fellows Scholarship is one of the nation’s most prestigious honors for students 18 and younger. This offers college scholarships to students who have completed significant projects that have the potential to benefit society in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature and music.🏆

Jerry Wen has been part of the RSM community for 5 years and has grown into a dedicated and confident math student. His participation in the RSM Honors Class has helped him strengthen his mathematical thinking and prepare for competitions such as the AMC 8.

Jerry believes that success starts with being engaged in the learning process. His advice to other students is simple: “Pay attention in class and do homework.”

By staying focused, completing his work, and making the most of every opportunity to learn, Jerry continues to build the skills needed to succeed in math competitions.

We are proud of Jerry’s dedication and achievements and look forward to seeing all that he accomplishes next!

2026 AMC 10/12 FREE PREPARATION WEBINAR SERIES
The AMC 10/12 are challenging national mathematics competitions designed to develop and enhance students’ problem-solving skills. This year’s contests will take place on November 5 (Contest A) and November 13 (Contest B).
To help students prepare, RSM Math Competition Preparation teachers are offering three FREE expert-led webinars focused on essential topics, problem-solving strategies, and time-saving techniques.
