This two-day event brought together leaders from across the division for meaningful collaboration, professional growth, and preparation for the upcoming school year. To open the event and foster connection among participants, Dr. Hummer led the group in icebreaker activities. What a wonderful time we’ve had sharing your stories! As our Season of Celebration and Success officially comes to a close, we want to say a huge thank you for every single submission we received. Reading your encouraging words celebrating so many achievements and successes has been the absolute best part. Before we wrap things up, please take a moment to read this final highlight.
There are teachers who help children learn, and then there are teachers who truly shape the way a child sees themselves. Ms. Cabazolo has gone far beyond academics for my daughter. Her patience, kindness, and unwavering support has helped her grow, not only as a student but as a person. She has taken the time to build her confidence when she doubted herself, to encourage her when things felt hard, and to make her feel safe, capable, and valued every single day. Because of her, my daughter continues to build a genuine love for learning and an eagerness to try new things and do her very best. That gift means more than any score on any test ever could. Thank you for being the kind of teacher my daughter, along with many other children, will remember forever — the kind who helps them believe in themselves.

Check out this celebration and success story!
My student has LOVED every day of his 2nd grade school year thanks to Mrs. Bullett. He is eager to achieve the goals she has set for him and works hard every day. With her instruction and motivation he has made great gains in his learning. She has pushed him beyond grade level expectations and ignite his joy for learning. He truly enjoys every day with her and the classroom family she has cultivated.

Here's another amazing success story!
I never believed in myself and I never thought I could graduate from high school. Every time I doubted myself, Mr. Dugan was always there to give me hope and encouragement. I can truly say this teacher changed my outlook not just on school, but life. Now because of this amazing teacher I’ll be able to say I’m graduating.

Time for another Season of Celebration and Success shoutout!
Thank you Mr. Saeler and Mr. Boring for going above and beyond this year. Your dedication, creativity, and genuine care have made such a meaningful impact on my son’s growth—not only in language arts and social studies, but in his confidence and curiosity as a learner. It’s been wonderful to see his enthusiasm for what he’s learning, and that speaks volumes about the supportive and inspiring environment you both have created. We are forever thankful for you both and the staff at FCMS for making the transition to middle school a wonderful one!

The Frederick County School Board is seeking community feedback as it explores potential opportunities to generate additional revenue in support of students, staff and schools.
As part of its ongoing efforts to explore potential revenue opportunities, the School Board is gathering information and community feedback regarding the possible use of school division property for cell towers. We recognize this is a topic on which community members may hold a variety of perspectives, and we welcome the opportunity to hear those viewpoints as part of the discussion.
Community members are invited to share their thoughts, questions and concerns during a public comment period at the Buildings and Grounds Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, June 15, which begins at 3:30 p.m. This meeting will take place at the Frederick County Public Schools Administration Building, located at 1415 Amherst Street, Wi******er, VA.
The School Board values community engagement and encourages interested residents to participate in the conversation to gather information and explore potential opportunities that could benefit students, staff and schools.
