🩷🏀🤍This is my High School in Wi******er, Virginia. They are the Class 4 State 🏀 Champions! 😉They played as a true team. The guys beat Hampton High School 61-42! We enjoyed watching them play! ❤️🏀❤️

I am saddened to inform you of the passing of our dear classmate Mary Jordan (Gregory) Conway. A retired French teacher and grandmother, she was living in Kilmarnoch, VA at least since I was able to find her several years ago.

A celebration of life will be held Feb 14th at the Kilmarnoch United Methodist Church. Support your favorite charity in her memory.

Sadly we must inform you of the passing of beloved classmate Becky Sirbaugh Morel who passed peacefully, November 16, 2025 at Blue Ridge Care.

A funeral service will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Jones Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wi******er.

Occasionally you will see a comment here eluding to 1970 being the best class ever. Other classes may have gone to States, or have the camaraderie of nicknames that transcend their entire careers, or international seniors ski teams but this...this is genuine.

Our reunion committee not only receives appreciation from people who attend our Reunions and have a good time. WE get appreciation from people who are unable to attend. I thought this deserved some recognition, not just me but for our small but effective reunion committee under the command of Mr. President, One Rusty Foltz. Also Kathy Philibin, Bill English and Rosa Butler and myself. Thank you Jill Adams Weber:

At the end of the event, Kathy remarks to me "We need to have a professional photographer for the events". I, of course, being a self-sufficient kind of person, disagreed . One of Kathy's most annoying traits is that she is so often correct!:

There is some previously undiscovered rule of the Universe that requires my camera to malfunction at reunion activities. This year it moved to a burst shot mode which I had no time to figure out during the event. All of the shots are low resolution and series of multiple shots for a couple seconds. I can frame grab an individual one, but the resolution is horrible.

I'll post this for starters, but it is going to take me some time to find useable pics. Anyone who has some, Please use my Email to provide and Thanks again to Bobbi Patton who has already posted a bunch.
