I’ve kept their explanations private, but suffice it to say I was moved by their honesty and the challenges they face.

“FCPS 101 was an eye-opening experience; a unique opportunity to see what goes into planning various aspects of the education and services that Frederick County Public Schools provides. From planning and delivering instruction to transportation to nutrition, it was a valuable learning opportunity that I'd recommend to any parent or community member.” That's what one of last year's FCPS 101 graduates said about Frederick County Public Schools' community engagement program. Applications for the 2022-23 FCPS 101 program are being accepted through Friday, September 9. The program provides parents and others with an opportunity to learn about Frederick County Public Schools and its operations. FCPS 101 is sponsored by First Bank and Virginia Property Group. https://bit.ly/applytoFCPS101
