Want to learn more about stroke risk? Check out the next Walk with a Doc, happening June 27 at 9am at the Valley Health Wellness and Fitness Center!

In April, a group of Shenandoah students attended and presented their research at the Virginia Section of the American Chemical Society’s meeting at the University of Virginia. Students also visited UVA’s chemistry department laboratories and learned about the chemistry graduate programs. Recent graduate Sophia Menyhart ’26 (Bachelor of Science in biology), pictured second from left in the top photo, also received an Outstanding Senior in Chemistry Research award from the ACS. In March, Menyhart traveled to San Antonio, Texas, for Pittcon, the world’s largest international analytical spectroscopy conference, where she presented two original research projects in chemistry and biology.
