Handley High School Class of 1966

Our dinner group has changed to a lunch group. In April we went to the Railway Cafe' for lunch. Besides Ann Sybert Spaid, Carla Kline Baker, Sharon McClintock Oster and Barbara Thomas; Linda Sirbaugh Meadows and Ann March Prokopchak were there.

I was scrolling through old pictures on the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival website and came across this 1956 picture. Look who is the majorette on the right. Our own Donna Dick!! Donna, Peggy Stinnett and Carla Kline were in the Wi******erettes majorette group back in the 1950's.

Just learned today that Gretchen Shrader Saunders' daughter passed away last week. Please keep Gretchen and her family in your thoughts. If you would like to mail a card, her address is--- 335 Jefferson St. Wi******er, VA 22601.

Just saw this in the "Out of the Past" section of the Wi******er Star. This is a few years before our time, but the names all sound familiar. :)

Just found out today that Ethel Nold Newell passed away in May 2025

Our classmate, Linda Sirbaugh Meadows, has a great-granddaughter who is a princess for this year's Apple Blossom Festival representing John Handley High School

Congratulations to classmate, Cathy Covert's son, Kevin, for being named Court Ambassador to Queen Shenandoah this year.
