We want to wish a happy birthday to another Delta Xi brother and Co-GCD, Dr. TJ Chapman. Dr. Chapman has always been highly involved in Kappa Psi, including serving as Satrap for the entire Mountain East Province from 2015-2016. While at Shenandoah University, he was involved in ASHP and SGA and now he is working as a pharmacist at Rite Aid. Here’s a little more about him!
Fun Fact: "I could never talk in front of a group of people before pledging and I used Kappa Psi to develop public speaking skills and to get over my phobia."
Why Kappa Psi?
"I had close friends who were heavily involved in Kappa Psi, such as Will Kennard and Austin Kanoy. In addition, I had been to Kappa Psi events, such as the Combest Bonfire, where I met many brothers. I also volunteered with brothers (including my future big) at several community events."
What is your favorite Kappa Psi memory?
"Will Kennard convincing Cameron Stewart and myself to carpool to Buffalo in 2013 for our very first province even though we had exams to study for. We would alternate driving and studying on our way up. I wouldn't trade that province for the world!"

We want to wish a happy birthday to our Co-GCD and Delta Xi alumni, Dr. Marilyn Hill! While at Shenandoah University, she was also involved in PLS, APhA, and NCPA. She is currently a pharmacist at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and here is a little more about her!
Fun Fact: My goal is to visit national parks and collect stamps from all 50 states.
Why Kappa Psi?
A pharmacist from home in CA recommended I join when I got accepted to Shenandoah. I had the mindset of just going to school, studying, and graduating. Kappa Psi surrounded me with mentors and leaders and truly brought out my full potential of being the best pharmacist I can be; I owe my opportunities and career successes to Kappa Psi.
What is your favorite Kappa Psi memory?
It would have to be during province in Baltimore. We prepared two raffle baskets and I wrote a sweet note to give a fun fact about Wi******er, except I put a WRONG fact and did not have another card to spare so I scribbled it all out then corrected it. The card looked terrible. I then put the correct fact on the second basket. Dinner time came and someone won one of our baskets and I watched in horror as he opened the card wondering if he received the scribbled card. Later, Kelly our secretary just happens to win our basket. Those who helped prepare the baskets stared at the card as she brought it back to the table. I then grabbed the card from her basket, opened it, IT'S THE SCRIBBLED CARD--what are the chances?! We all then die laughing. 😂

Today our brotherhood was able to come together and walk to cure Diabetes in Washington DC! We were able to raise hundreds of dollars to contribute to he American Diabetes Association. Thank you to everyone who donated to our cause and to the brothers that helped set this event up.
