WE DID IT!
We were finally able to spell “Wi******er”...one letter was added each day everyone in class was at school. With so much sickness going around it wasn’t easy but we persevered. 😁👏🏼❤️

We had ladies from Art Express come give us a lesson yesterday titled “Peace.” We learned about artists who created peaceful pictures, how lines and colors can bring peace and then the students were able to create their own picture of peace using water color crayons and plain water. They really enjoyed the process. We love having teachers from Art Express visit our classroom.

Day 2 of Elfcapades!

The kids found Snowflake “lying on the world” this morning. They found her later snuggled with the blankets. They enjoyed a very chilly extra recess before lunch where their kindness act was to play with someone they don’t usually play with. They are really loving beating the teacher on their daily scoreboard to earn the next day’s kindness activity.

Our wonderful Nutrition Teacher, Miss Nicky, provided the kids with all the ingredients to make whole wheat veggie pizza...

Our classroom has been FULL of activity! Yesterday we received a visitor from the North Pole. The kids named her Snowflake. She has been watching and listening and bringing fun gifts when the class wins on the score board. It was Day 1 of Elfcapades and the kids got to make candy cane ornaments while munching on them too. It was so much FUN!

We had a GREAT TIME at Young’s Garden Center for our field trip today! The kids learned a little something about plants, played some fun games and loved the Hay Playground! A little rain didn’t hurt us either. What a fantastic way to spend part of an afternoon.
