In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Cougars showed up in full force for "Pink Out Day", wearing pink from head to toe to stand with everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
We especially honor the TVCS staff members and families who have faced this diagnosis, walked beside a loved one through treatment, or carry the memory of someone they have lost. Thank you to our students for leading the way today with so much heart.

Bookies & Cookies took our Cougars around the world!
What an adventure at Temecula Valley Charter School! Students stamped their passports as they traveled from country to country through stories, music, and delicious treats.
We were honored to welcome two featured authors:

Dr. Kim Lu Lawe, author of A Boat Called Faith, representing Vietnam
Tamika Burgess, award-winning author of Sincerely Sicily and Danilo Was Here, representing Panama

Our own teachers brought even more of the world to life:

Philippines — Mrs. Norman
England — Mrs. Greenberg
Mexico — Mrs. Oriondo
Germany — Mrs. Baggett
Scandinavia — Mrs. Golden

Families enjoyed special musical performances and tastes from each country — German pancakes, English biscuits, and so much more — all topped off with a cookie and a prize for every completed passport.
Thank you to our guest authors, teachers, and families who made literacy feel like a celebration!

A busy and joyful week in Kindergarten at TVCS!
Monday we celebrated Grandparents Day—our playground was full of extra hugs, stories, and proud smiles as grandparents joined their Cougars for a special morning together.
Then came an on-site field trip the little ones will talk about for weeks: Captain Feddock and his crew brought the firetruck right to campus! Students explored the truck, learned about fire safety, and saw community helpers in action.
Thank you, Captain Feddock and the entire crew, for taking the time to visit Temecula Valley Charter School and making such a memorable day for our Kindergarteners.

Congratulations to our JV Girls Volleyball team and Varsity Football team on their impressive wins Tuesday evening! Both squads defeated Rancho Christian in decisive victories — what a night for TVCS athletics! 🏐🏈
A huge thank you to our amazing TVCS Cheer squad for bringing the energy and cheering on our football team. You represented Cougar Pride beautifully! 📣

This morning, Temecula Valley Charter School took time to honor Patriot Day and commemorate the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
Our middle school band opened the program followed by our National Anthem and our Cougar Crescendo Elementary Choir. Student speakers shared words of reflection and gratitude. We were honored to welcome a special guest: George Scott — TVCS parent, Murrieta Police Department officer, and 2025 Officer of the Year — who spoke to our students and community.

A huge thank you to every family who came out to support Temecula Valley Charter School. It was such a joy to see so many Cougars together—sharing a meal, catching up, and enjoying time with our TVCS family.
Nights like this remind us what makes our school special: our community. Your support helps our students, our programs, and the spirit that makes TVCS feel like home.
