Congratulations to our GRC Wind Ensemble & Concert Band on earning Distinguished Ratings at the KMEA Large Ensemble Performance Assessment!

Last Thursday and Friday at Morehead State University, our students represented GRC with pride. This achievement is a direct reflection of their hard work and commitment throughout the semester.

We couldn’t be more proud of these kids and how they represented our school and community.

GRC Colorguard members Emma Caudill and Jay Dailey wrapped up their last session of Colorguard Club at Baker Intermediate. This semester, Emma and Jay have been working with a small group of students every Thursday afternoon. We are grateful for their leadership and the many memories that have been created through this club!

Congratulations to Angel Fischer and Olivia Root on being selected for the Governor’s School for the Arts!

Earning a place in this highly selective program is an outstanding achievement and speaks to their dedication, musicianship, and commitment to excellence. The Governor’s School for the Arts represents some of the best young artists in the state, and this honor is well deserved.

We are proud to have Angel and Olivia representing the George Rogers Clark High School Band, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish through this experience and beyond.
