Our students had an absolute blast today enjoying bouncy houses, water slides, games, a movie, and plenty of delicious food!

🐟 Our 5th grade science students wrapped up an incredible hands-on learning experience today as they released the trout they have been raising all semester into a local pond!

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we just want to say how thankful we are for our incredible DMIS teachers and staff! 💚🏆

This week was packed with fun, surprises, and lots of appreciation — hydration station💧 (provided by Dream- Dominion Real Estate), breakfast 🍳 (provided by Cracker Barrel), sweet treats 🍪, stadium snacks from PTO 🍿, a We**ie Wagon hot dog lunch 🌭, underground spirit days 🤫, and our staff MVP athlete AI creations 🏅.

Our theme, “Stretch Beyond — Where Effort Meets Excellence,” perfectly reflects the dedication and heart our staff brings every single day. Thank you for always going above and beyond for our students and school community. We truly have an MVP staff at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School! 💚👏

Students visited Shenandoah University for the Rally for Reading, where they heard from authors John Schu and Kate DiCamillo and each received a book to take home.

So many smiles and lots of excitement about reading! ❤️📖
