In Mrs. Braun-Duin’s class students interviewed their partners and then introduced them to the class.

We are off to a great start in kindergarten today! We made new friends, practiced coloring in the lines with the right colors, and made some classroom rules together. It is going to be a great year 🙂

📚🐭 ’Twas the Night Before the First Day…

’Twas the night before the first day, and all through John Kerr, Not a student was stirring… not even a mouse, we hope! 🐭😉

The classrooms are ready, the desks are in place, The playground is waiting for smiles to fill every space.

The halls have been polished, the pencils are sharp, And our teachers are dreaming of tomorrow tonight. ✏️📚

The slides are all ready, the basketballs too,
There’s so much excitement for all of you! 🛝🏀

Tomorrow, the doors will open wide,
And we’ll welcome our John Kerr students with pride. ❤️

New friends will be made, new things will be learned, And countless little “aha!” moments will be earned.

So rest up, John Kerr families, the big day is near— We can’t wait to see our students and start an amazing new year!

Here’s to a year filled with learning, laughter, kindness, and growth. 🌟

We are all set to welcome our staff back in the building tomorrow. Families please take some time to enjoy your last week before school returns.

Just want to say thank you to these John Handley High school students for coming over and helping get together over 600 packets for our families. In the pictures are Katie Barker, Claire Constantino, Brock Ashe, and Alex Currie. Thank you all for your time and help.
