We are happy to share that our volunteers have been nationally recognized by the American Hospital Association! The Hurst Hospitality House was awarded for volunteer excellence in the community outreach category by the association, and the only hospital program in Virginia to be awarded this year. We extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our caring volunteers!
The American Hospital Association honors Wi******er hospital volunteer program Wi******er Medical Center's Hurst Hospitality House is a home away from home for families that have loved ones in the hospital, and live more than 40 miles away from Wi******er.

About Us
The Hurst Hospitality House is on the Wi******er Medical Center's campus, and is used for out of town family and visitors, who are critical to the hospital's patients care and recovery. The house is able to offer the stays for free with the community's help, the Wi******er Medical Center auxiliary, and its caring volunteers.
