Winchester Learning Center Wi******er Learning Center, A United Way Agency, is a Granite Steps of Quality, Childcare, Preschool, Family Resource Connection Center!

We are also a proud Pyramid Model Implementation Site!!!! ๏ฟผ The mission of the Wi******er Learning Center is to provide high quality child care and preschool programs to families with children and to insure that services are available and affordable. WLC encourages family and community involvement and partners with the local school system to give each child a strong educational foundation, WLC strives to maintain a strong organizational structure, to have carefully considered business practices and to be financially sound. WLC will continue to improve and expand it's programs to satisfy the child care and educational needs of the community.

Tiny Tegan is a fun and familiar Pyramid Model character that helps children learn about their feelings and build important social-emotional skills. When educators intentionally use Tiny Teagan to talk about emotions, model strategies, and practice ways to express and manage big feelings, children have opportunities to build confidence, communicate their needs, and navigate everyday social-emotional experiences. ๐ŸŒˆโœจ

For over 10 years, WLC has facilitated the townwide Christmas for Kids program, helping bring holiday joy to children and families in Wi******er and Ashuelot.

This community-wide effort brings together local families, businesses, organizations, and generous community members to help ensure that children in our community can experience the magic of the holiday season. ๐ŸŽโœจ

Nourishing little tummies, one week at a time! ๐Ÿ’›

WLC is proud to partner with Feeding Tiny Tummies, an organization dedicated to nourishing the tummies and minds of the next generation.

Through this partnership, families enrolled at WLC who sign up for the program can receive weekly food bags to help provide additional food for their children and families at home.

Weโ€™re grateful to partner with an organization that shares our commitment to supporting the whole child and the whole family. ๐Ÿฅฐ

WLC is a Family Resource Connection site, providing enrolled families with access to resources and support that can help meet the needs of the whole family.

Through our Family Resource Program, families can access items and assistance such as food pantry resources, clothing, hygiene products, diapers, and holiday support.

We believe that when families feel supported, children have an even stronger foundation to learn, grow, and thrive. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ
