TWO STATE CHAMPIONS. ONE INCREDIBLE WEEKEND.
The John Handley High School Judges shined on the biggest stage at the VHSL State Championships!
Timmy Campbell cleared 6’7” to capture the VHSL State Championship in the High Jump.
Evelyn Mullins sprinted to a State Championship in the 400m Dash, setting a new school record of 55.52 seconds. She also earned a 4th-place finish in the 200m Dash with a time of 24.52 seconds.
Other outstanding performances from the Judges:
Will Thomas placed 5th in the 800m Run with a time of 1:58.81.
Brock Ashe competed in the 110m Hurdles, finishing 14th with a time of 15.65 seconds.
Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches for representing John Handley High School.

Congratulations to our John Handley High School girls tennis team, as they beat Atlee HS 5-1 in the state semifinal match. The team will now move on to the VHSL state championship match on Thursday, June 11th @ 9AM. The location will be Huntington Park in Newport News, VA. The judges will face the winner of Jamestown versus EC Glass.
