Last day of school means our last assembly of the school year. Our Cardinal's have been earning rewards for hardwork. They earned over 150 gold bars which earned them a chance to silly string Mr. D and throw water balloons at staff. We hope all our Cardinal families have a wonderful summer.

Our Cardinal's had so much fun this past Tuesday at our Reading Carnival. Students have been earning carnival tickets the past few weeks as they reached reading level goals and got a chance to cash in on their rewards. Special thank you to Mrs. Sikora and all the staff and volunteers that helped with this fun event.

The phone lines at Orchard View Elementary School are down. Although the school can make calls in the event of an emergency, they are currently unable to receive calls. Individuals who need to contact the school should call the FCPS Administration Building at 540-662-3888. We will provide updates as they become available.

Can you believe we’ve reached the finish line? As we wrap up an incredible 2025-2026 school year, we want to thank you for your partnership, your support, and for sharing your wonderful children with us every day.

To help tomorrow run smoothly, please keep these important details in mind for tomorrow, May 28th:

- Final Day & Early Dismissal: Tomorrow is officially our last day of school! We will be operating on an early dismissal schedule. Dismissal will begin at 1:00 PM. Please ensure you have arrangements in place for your child's early arrival home.

- Kindergarten Bus Safety Reminder: For our youngest learners, safety is our top priority. An adult must be present at the bus stop for kindergarten students to exit the bus. If an adult is not there, the bus will return the student to the school for pickup.
