Mountain View Christian Academy Mountain View Christian Academy, a K-12 coeducational school, is located in Winchester, Virginia at the northern end of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

MVCA functions upon the basic fundamental principles of the Word of God, and it espouses the historic Christian view of life as presented in the Bible. MVCA provides a quality education from a Christian perspective. In conjunction with the home and the church, MVCA provides training for the whole student—spiritually, academically, socially and physically—producing well-adjusted, morally sound individuals equipped to transform society. Mountain View Christian Academy provides quality education from a Christian perspective. Teaching is based on the absolute truths revealed in the Bible and the application of those truths is emphasized in every area of study. Standards are set to raise students to academic excellence. In addition, key principles of Christian character are taught in an effort to train students to whole-heartedly rise to the standard of Christian conduct in obedience, respect, and self-discipline. Thus, the Bible and Christian training are not “extras” but integral parts of every area of study, emphasizing a direct relationship to the sovereign God. No, in all these things we are more than Conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

Character is built through everyday choices—showing respect, taking responsibility, and serving others with love. At MVCA we intentionally guide our students to be servant leaders who will take their seats at the table. Each Fall and Spring we take our Middle School and High School students off campus to a local Christian Camp to teach them how to be servant leaders. Today our Middle Schoolers left for their two days at camp.

Integrity means choosing what is right—even when it’s hard. We are proud to guide students toward lives of honesty and responsibility. That is why we intentionally create experiences that allow students to develop their leadership abilities by taking our Middle School and High School students off campus twice a year for team building and service Leadership retreats.
It all begins next week!

It is one thing for MVCA students to be studying the Bible in class, but it is special when a group of students create a lunch time Bible study on their own.

Character is who we are becoming when no one is watching. At MVCA, we strive to shape hearts grounded in Christ. ✝️
